Privacy Policy

'www.phhc.co.kr' (hereinafter referred to as the 'Integrated Website') has established the following Privacy Policy to protect the personal information and rights of users and to effectively address any grievances related to personal information, pursuant to the Personal Information Protection Act. In the event of any amendments to this Privacy Policy, the Company will provide notification through website announcements or individual notices.

This policy shall take effect on October 1, 2015.

7. Destruction of Personal Information

In principle, the 'Integrated Website' destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of its processing has been achieved. The procedures, deadlines, and methods for destruction are as follows:

Destruction Procedure
Information entered by users is transferred to a separate database (or separate filing cabinets for paper documents) once the purpose is achieved. It is stored for a certain period in accordance with internal policies and relevant laws before being destroyed, or is destroyed immediately. Personal information transferred to the database shall not be used for any other purpose unless required by law.
Destruction Deadline
Personal information is destroyed within five (5) days from the end of the retention period. If the information becomes unnecessary due to the achievement of processing purposes, discontinuation of services, or termination of business, it will be destroyed within five (5) days from the date it is deemed no longer required.
Destruction Method
Information in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that render the records irretrievable. Personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration.
8. Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information

Pursuant to Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the 'Integrated Website' implements the following technical, administrative, and physical measures necessary to ensure the security of personal information:

We implement measures to manage personal information by designating specific personnel and limiting access to the minimum number of employees necessary.
2. Conducting Regular Internal Audits
To ensure security in the handling of personal information, we conduct internal audits on a regular basis (once per quarter).
3. Establishment and Implementation of an Internal Management Plan
We have established and are implementing an internal management plan for the secure processing of personal information.
4. Encryption of Personal Information
Users' passwords are encrypted for storage and management, ensuring they are accessible only to the user. For critical data, we employ additional security features, such as encrypting files and transmission data or using file-locking functions.
5. Technical Countermeasures Against Hacking
PyungHwa Holdings Co., Ltd. installs security programs and performs regular updates and inspections to prevent the leakage or damage of personal information caused by hacking or computer viruses. Systems are located in restricted access zones and are monitored and protected through both technical and physical security measures.
6. Restricting Access to Personal Information
We take necessary measures to control access to personal information by granting, modifying, and revoking access rights to the database systems. Furthermore, we utilize Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) to block unauthorized external access.
7. Retention of Access Logs and Prevention of Tampering
Access logs for the personal information processing system are maintained for at least six (6) months. Security functions are implemented to prevent forgery, tampering, theft, or loss of these records.
8. Use of Locking Devices for Document Security
Documents and auxiliary storage media containing personal information are kept in secure locations equipped with physical locking devices.
9. Access Control for Unauthorized Personnel
We maintain separate physical storage areas for personal information and operate strict access control procedures to prevent unauthorized entry.

13. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy shall take effect from the implementation date.
