Vibration Control
Suspension & Chassis Bushings: Definition & Future Outlook
Suspension and chassis bushings are critical components that support the vehicle's underbody structure. They enhance driving stability and ride comfort by absorbing vibrations and shocks transmitted from the road.
These bushings prevent direct metal-to-metal contact and mitigate road shocks, significantly improving overall NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) performance.
With the rapid growth of the electric vehicle (EV) market, the demand for hydro bushings is increasing to address heavier battery weights and stricter low-noise requirements. Leveraging our optimized rubber compounding technology, we continue to maximize both durability and performance.
In response to the diversification of the automotive market—including electrification, autonomous driving, premiumization, and eco-mobility—we are dedicated to continuous material and technological innovation to deliver customized suspension and chassis bushing solutions.
Suspension Bush & Mount Products
- Strut Mount Insulator
- Assembled at the top of the strut assembly, it insulates vibrations transmitted
from the road and tires to the chassis while effectively controlling vehicle dynamics.
- Hydraulic Bushing
- Hydraulic bushings utilize a combination of rubber and hydraulic damping through internal fluid channels. They provide high damping force for vibrations and loads within specific frequency bands, effectively mitigating after-shocks and enhancing overall ride comfort.
- Light Weight Bushing
- Designed for NVH and R&H (Ride & Handling) performance, these bushings utilize plastic and aluminum materials to reduce weight. They support vehicle loads while isolating vibrations transmitted from the road surface through the tires.
- Link Bushing
- By optimizing tire grip and responsiveness, link bushings significantly improve
the vehicle's driving performance, handling precision, and stability.
- Dynamic Damper
- Installed on components prone to resonance, the dynamic damper absorbs energy
at specific resonant frequencies to effectively reduce the magnitude of vibrations in the main body.
